Chief Executive Officer
Paul is the Chief Executive of Whiterock and has over 13 years of experience leading the local team, which provides loans to companies across Northern Ireland. Following the successful deployment of three growth funds, Whiterock now manages over £255m of funds, including a £60m debt fund and a £75m equity fund, supporting businesses at every stage of growth.
Paul brings considerable banking and corporate finance expertise, having spent seven years in Corporate & Business Banking at Bank of Ireland, and previously held senior roles for 10 years at KPMG and Deloitte. Throughout his career, Paul has focused on delivering corporate financial advice and funding solutions to SMEs in Northern Ireland.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and served as Chair of Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2023 to 2024, reflecting his commitment to advancing the profession. Paul holds an honours degree and a postgraduate diploma in Accounting from Queen’s University Belfast.

Partner
David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He is an experienced financial professional with investment and lead advisory experience and has been involved in structuring complex investment and M&A opportunities for over 20 years.
David has experience in structuring both equity and credit investments, strategic financial planning and cash flow analysis and lead M&A advisory having worked on buy-side and sell-side opportunities for both corporate and financial clients across a range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
He is responsible for sourcing and executing equity investment opportunities for the Growth Capital Fund having been involved in the successful deployment of a series of funds within Whiterock.

Partner
Neil is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland with an honours degree and post graduate diploma from University of Ulster, Jordanstown. He trained in Audit at KPMG, Belfast and worked in Australia for RSM Bird Cameron in 2007 as an Audit Supervisor. He joined Whiterock from Bank of Ireland, where he was Relationship Manager in Corporate & Business Banking for a portfolio of SME customers in a variety of industries including;, manufacturing, retail and distribution from 2008 to 2012.
He is responsible for sourcing and executing investment opportunities for the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland having been involved in the successful deployment of the Growth Loan Fund and the Growth Loan Fund II.

Partner
Rhona is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. She qualified in March 2007 and was placed 10th in Ireland in the ICAI Final Admitting Exams. Rhona has over 15 years of experience working in fund management and corporate finance. In her current role as Investment Director she is responsible for sourcing and executing investment transactions for the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland.
Prior to this, Rhona was responsible for the successful deployment of the Growth Fianance Fund and previously managing the Growth Loan Fund portfolio of SMEs across a broad range of sectors.
Before joining Whiterock, Rhona spent 10 years in PwC Corporate Finance preparing business plans and detailed integrated financial projections for business start-ups, business expansion and acquisitions. Rhona has also experience in financial due diligence and M&A transactions.

Investment Director
Graham has over 30 years of experience in the financial and technology markets, corporate governance and venture investing in technology-based companies. Graham joined the board of FD Technologies in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and played a fundamental role in the development and delivery of the growth strategy for the business, whose revenue grew 25 times during his tenure.
During his career he has been extensively involved in corporate acquisitions, restructurings, developing strategic partnerships, investment activities and latterly established and managed the FD Technologies. He formerly held senior roles with KPMG, Bank of Ireland and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
He is responsible for sourcing and executing equity investment opportunities for the Growth Capital Fund. Following investments Graham works with portfolio management teams to realise their ambitious growth plans.

Venture Partner
Adrian is an accomplished entrepreneur and former “C suite” executive with over 30 years’ experience in developing and implementing sustainable growth strategies and leading high- performance teams.
He joined the Whiterock team in June 2025 as an Venture Partner.
He was a Board member at FD Technologies plc from 2005-2020 initially as a Non-Executive Director from 2005-2010 and latterly as Chief Operating Officer from 2010-2020. He joined the Allianz Group in 1990 in London as a credit insurance underwriter working within the construction and timber industries with specific responsibility for Ireland country risk.
From 2003-2010 he was Head of Allianz Northern Ireland and a Member of the Executive Management Team of Allianz Ireland plc (based in Dublin and Belfast) responsible for business operations and broker distribution.
He has an honours degree from Queens University Belfast and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from Middlesex University.
Adrian is responsible for assisting in equity investment opportunities for the Growth Capital Fund. Following investment Adrian works with portfolio management teams to realise their ambitious growth plans.

Finance Director
Jenna qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. She has over 15 years’ experience in fund management and accountancy.
As Finance Director, Jenna oversees the firm’s financial strategy, operations, and reporting, ensuring robust governance and transparency for investors. With extensive experience in fund finance and regulatory compliance, she plays a key role in safeguarding the firm’s financial strength and supporting its long-term growth.
Having been involved in the successful deployment of numerous funds within Whiterock, as both a Senior Investment Manager and Financial Analyst, Jenna has in-depth experience sourcing and executing investment transactions across all sectors in the Northern Ireland market.
Before joining Whiterock Jenna spent 5 years at KPMG where she managed the audits of a varied range.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Ulster and a Chartered Accountant.
Chris has over ten years of experience working with private equity and venture capital firms to execute deals across the technology, industrial and services sectors. He started his career at PwC London, prior to spending 7 years executing deals in the NI market before joining Whiterock.
Chris is responsible for sourcing and executing investments on behalf of Whiterock’s Growth Capital Fund. Following investments Chris works with management teams to realise their ambitious growth plans.

Una qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Una has over 13 years of experience working within the Advisory Practice at PwC, supporting SMEs on a range of areas including; strategy and growth, debt and refinancing, operational improvement and restructuring. Una has a strong network of relationships across funders, solicitors, accountancy practices and other key stakeholders.
She joined Whiterock as Head of Portfolio, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of SMEs operating across a multitude of sectors. In her current role as Investment Director, she is responsible for sourcing and executing investment opportunities.

Jamie graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a First-Class Honours Degree in Accounting and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2016.
Jamie joined Whiterock in 2019, having spent 7 years in the Advisory team at BDO Northern Ireland, where she gained considerable experience in providing restructuring and advisory services to individuals and SMEs operating across a wide range of sectors. Her experience includes business growth planning, independent business reviews, viability studies, debt restructuring & refinancing, insolvency and asset tracing.
As Head of Portfolio Jamie is experienced in managing a diverse portfolio of SMEs operating across a multitude of sectors. Jamie is responsible for building relationships with the key individuals and developing an in-depth understanding of the business, its financial performance and overall strategic plans. Jamie is also responsible for sourcing and executing follow-on investments.

Head of Commercial and Property Finance
Ryan joined Whiterock in 2021, having gained over 15 years’ experience working in the Business & Corporate Banking departments of two large local financial institutions.
He is an Economics & Business Economics graduate of Queen’s University Belfast and has obtained the professional designation of Chartered Banker from the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.
His banking experience includes structuring new to bank funding requests across a myriad of sectors, debt restructuring and SME/property portfolio management.
Using his extensive funding knowledge & network, Ryan is responsible for sourcing & securing funding for clients within the property & commercial finance sector.

Head of Property Finance
Having qualified in 2011, being placed 1st in Northern Ireland in her ICAI Final Admitting Exams, Clare is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. She has almost 20 years of experience in banking and corporate finance roles.
Clare is responsible for sourcing debt financing on behalf of clients across a range of business types, asset classes and funding needs.
Clare leverages her strong network to seek to deliver the most attractive and competitive funding offers for her clients based on their specific funding needs and circumstances, seeking to ease the debt raising process for her clients from start to finish.
Prior to joining Whiterock , Clare has over 10 years of experience in the Northern Ireland Corporate Banking market, having worked for two large financial institutions. Clare has also spent a number of years working in a Corporate Finance role where she was involved in helping advise clients on fund raising, business disposals, M&A and debt restructuring requirements.

Investment Manager
Jacob graduated from The University of Dundee with an Honours degree in Finance.
He completed his Chartered Accountant qualification while undergoing training with the EY Assurance department in the Dublin office from 2020 to 2023. His focus within the Assurance department was on the Banking and Capital Markets sectors. Throughout his tenure at EY, he gained valuable experience in auditing and preparing accounts for prominent multinational clients, notably Global Payment Institutions and Fintech companies.
In his role as an Investment Manager, Jacob is tasked with analysing financial data and forecasts for prospective clients. Additionally, he is responsible for preparing and delivering Due Diligence reports to the investment committee.

Investment Manager
Sara graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a First-Class Honours Degree in Finance. Sara qualified as a chartered accountant in 2021 following 5 years with KPMG. Prior to joining Whiterock in 2023 Sara spent 2 years working in the central finance team at Kainos PLC.
Sara is an Investment Manager within the Growth Capital Fund team, and her role involves supporting the investment appraisal process from sourcing of opportunities through to execution. She is also responsible for managing the due diligence process and liaising with the portfolio companies after investment.

Investment Executive
Olivia graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Finance and Investment Management from Ulster University in 2024. During her studies, she completed a placement year with Whiterock, gaining hands-on experience across investment, portfolio, and operational functions.
She rejoined Whiterock in September 2024 and is currently training to become a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland, having successfully completed all CAP1 exams.
As an Investment Executive, she supports internal and external reporting, fund monitoring, credit papers, and investment committee processes across Whiterock’s investment, portfolio, and finance functions, with a growing focus on ESG integration.
Olivia brings a detail-oriented and collaborative approach to her work, helping to ensure high-quality delivery across Whiterock’s funds.

Investment Analyst
Ian is a finance professional with a background in corporate finance, restructuring, audit, and banking. He holds an MSc in Management from the University of Edinburgh Business School and a BA (Honors) in Rural Business Management.
Ian completed his Chartered Accountants Ireland training contract with KPMG in the firm’s Dublin audit department, where he gained experience across the agri-food, hospitality, sport, healthcare, and finance sectors. He then joined Sumer NI’s restructuring and corporate finance team.
As an Investment Analyst at Whiterock, Ian evaluates financial data and projections for prospective clients and is responsible for preparing and delivering due diligence reports to the investment committee.

Investment Analyst
Michael studied Accounting and Finance at Newcastle University, graduating in 2018. Michael joined EY in Belfast where he completed his Chartered Accountants Ireland training contract whilst working in the Assurance department. He then joined the Transaction Diligence team where his focus was providing buy-side and sell-side due diligence on UK&I SME businesses in both the corporate and mid-market private equity sectors.
As an Investment Analyst within the Growth Capital Fund team his role involves analysing financial data and forecasts for prospective clients. He is also responsible for preparing Due Diligence reports for investment committee.

Portfolio Analyst
Caitlin graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a First Class Honours degree in International Business. Caitlin is a qualified chartered accountant previously working at Sumer Northern Ireland for 4 years in the Audit, Accounts and Advisory team.
Caitlin is a Portfolio Analyst with a focus on building and maintaining key relationships within our diverse portfolio. She collaborates closely with SMEs to understand and support their core business functions and contributes to the development and execution of their strategic plans.
