Whiterock Finance has passed a significant funding milestone as it celebrates its tenth year, having provided finance to a Newtownabbey-based strength and conditioning equipment manufacturer.
Since being established in 2012, the company has provided £100m to 150 SMEs across Northern Ireland through its Growth Loan Fund I, alongside Growth Loan Fund II and the Growth Finance Fund.

Kairos Sports Tech, a local sports software company, has unveiled plans to grow its team to expand further into global markets, ultimately aiming to create a number of new jobs in Belfast, the US, Australia and across Europe. The loans have been provided through two funds managed by Whiterock Finance, the Growth Loan Fund II and Growth Finance Fund, both of which are part of Invest Northern Ireland’s Access to Finance portfolio.
Companies of all sizes and stages of development have availed of the finance, from a range of sectors, including Advanced Manufacturing

Club Sport NI Ltd, a sports kit provider, has secured a £100k loan through Whiterock Finance’s Growth Loan Fund II to expand its business across Ireland.

Co Fermanagh manufacturer RE-KKUR has its sights set on new markets and product expansion after securing £575,000 in support from the Growth Loan Fund I & II.
The funds from Whiterock Finance were made accessible to the company via Invest NI. Support from Whiterock has already allowed it to expand from nine employees to 29 staff.

Cirdan Imaging Ltd (Cirdan), a medical informatics and imaging technology company in Lisburn has received a £1.5m funding boost from the Growth Finance Fund, it was announced today. Cirdan plans to create 50 new jobs over the next three years and has used the funding to facilitate its expansion plans with a move to a new office at the former Coca-Cola factory in Lambeg.
