About

Whiterock is a locally owned fund manager founded in 2012 with its headquarters based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

We have a strong track record, having deployed in excess of £120m of debt funds, supporting over 180 companies throughout Northern Ireland across a range of sectors, with our talented team working in partnership with businesses to drive growth.

Whiterock has £225m of funds under management to date across both debt and equity:
• £150m of debt funds including the £30m Investment Fund for Northern Ireland, providing terms loans from £25k-£2m; and
• £75m equity fund, providing growth capital to businesses with high growth potential seeking investment in the range £1m-£7.5m.

Our key investors include Invest NI, British Business Bank and NILGOSC.

In addition to our own funds, we also operate a brokerage division, supporting clients in sourcing their funding requirements. Our expert broker team has a vast network of funders across NI, ROI and the UK, with an in-depth knowledge of lenders funding appetite and processes. This service has proved invaluable for our clients, allowing them to obtain the appropriate funding structure at a competitive rate within an accelerated timeframe.

  • Growth Loan Fundadd_circle
    The Growth Loan Fund II is a £30m fund backed by Invest NI through ERDF funding. The Fund will provide commercial loans of typically between £100k and £500k to fund growth, but has the ability to provide funding of up to £1.5m. Loans will be provided on a flexible basis over a 2-7 year period. In addition, the fund will have the ability to provide capital and/or interest moratoriums and partial bullet repayments to align with the cash-flows of the business.

    The Growth Finance Fund is a £30m fund backed by The British Business Bank, Invest NI and NILGOSC. The Fund will provide commercial loans of between £500k and £2m to fund growth. Loans will be provided on a flexible basis over a 2-7 year period. In addition, the fund will retain the ability to provide capital and/or interest moratoriums and partial bullet repayments to align with the cash-flows of the business.

  • Property Finance & Commercialadd_circle
    We believe that Relationship Brokers are an important component to accessing finance for growth, which is why we set up our Property & Commercial Finance division. Our role as the Relationship Broker will be to arrange offers of funding for Property Finance and Commercial Finance projects.  Whether it is new, existing or top-up funding our team will be able assist clients in conjunction with arranging full banking refinances.  As a Relationship Broker we will be involved from the initial concept through to drawdown of funds, which enables us to fully understand the funding requirement and develop the most appropriate funding structure.  We will assist the client and their existing team of financial and legal advisors in the preparation of lending proposals to be submitted to funders for consideration through to project completion.  Our vast experience in the local banking and alternative finance sectors enables us to pinpoint the most appropriate funder with the credit appetite for the proposal.
